Updates
What changed in FivePanel, written up when it ships. The same posts land in #changelog on our Discord.
Connecting your database to the panel is now a checklist and a plain form
The mapping screen no longer asks you to draw lines between fields. It lists each kind of data your panel shows, fills in guesses from your database, and lets you check each one in a form with real sample values.
- A checklist shows which data is connected, which has a suggestion waiting, and which still shows sample rows
- "Use all suggestions" saves every guess in one click
- Each field is a dropdown that shows sample values from your database, so you pick by recognising the data
- The preview under the form updates on its own as you change fields
- Better guesses for custom databases, including camelCase names and server log tables
Installing the database agent is now one command and a clear guide
The install step in Settings › Data is now a short numbered guide with the full command, and the Windows installer asks for Administrator rights itself instead of failing with "Access to the path is denied".
- One PowerShell command installs the agent, asks for your database address and starts the Windows service
- Run from a normal PowerShell window, the installer opens an Administrator one after the Windows prompt
- The guide shows where the database address is: the mysql_connection_string line in server.cfg
- The Linux command now asks for the database address and finishes the setup, instead of stopping after the download
- A "Something went wrong?" section covers the common errors and how to check the connection
Set up a new panel in one dialog
Creating a project now asks what the panel is for, how it should look, what your server is called, and optionally connects Discord sign-in and your Tebex store, so the builder opens on a panel that is already yours.
- Pick the pages you need, from Overview, Players, Vehicles, Economy, Moderation, Staff and Store, and each arrives with its widgets
- Choose a theme, dark or light colours and an accent before the builder opens
- Your server name, description and logo fill in the tab title, search result and link preview
- Paste your Discord Application ID and Client secret, and your Tebex Public token on Studio, or skip and do it later in Settings
- Templates and community designs are still there as a starting point
Terms and Privacy pages for your panel, and the Tebex mark in the footer
You can now publish your server's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy on the panel, starting from a template or writing your own, with links in the footer. Panels with a Tebex store also show a "Payments by Tebex" mark in the footer.
- A new Legal section in Settings, with a Terms of Service and a Privacy Policy
- Templates filled in from your panel: server name, contact, Discord sign-in and store
- Each document is published at /terms or /privacy and linked from the footer
- Every page says it was written by the server's owner, so players know who it is between
- A connected Tebex store adds a "Payments by Tebex" mark to the footer
Floating and glass sidebar, header and footer
The sidebar, the header and the page footer can now float off the edge of the page as rounded cards, each with its own corner radius. They can also be glass, and the sidebar and header can stay on screen while the page scrolls.
- A new Style option on the sidebar, header and footer: Docked or Floating
- Floating parts stand 12px off the page edge with a border and a soft shadow
- Corners from 0 to 32px, set separately for each part
- Glass: a see-through background with a blur, so the wallpaper shows through
- Stay in view keeps the sidebar and header on screen while the page scrolls
Build on your own database for free. Pay when it goes live.
Free accounts can now connect one real database and build the whole panel on their own players, vehicles and money. Pro is what puts it in front of players and staff.
- Free includes one agent connection to MongoDB or MySQL, in the builder
- See your real rows while you build, before you pay anything
- Publishing a panel that reads a real database needs Pro
- Sample-data panels still publish on Free
A calmer builder, and a lot more it can do
Redesigned side panels, top bar and FiveAI chat, plus formulas, gradients, widget backgrounds, hero art controls and SEO settings for published panels.
- Pages live inside Layers, and the Inspector splits into Content, Style and Visibility
- Formulas: sum, average, distinct counts and ratios over your own rows
- Gradient text, gradient buttons and a background for any single widget
- Settings → SEO sets the title, description, preview image and indexing
Community designs, and free days for the people who make them
Share a panel's look and layout to a public gallery, start a new project from anyone's design, and earn free subscription days when paying users install yours.
- A public gallery at /designs with live previews of every shared panel
- Sharing keeps the look and layout and strips your data, roles, store and secrets
- Use any design as the starting point for a new project
- Every 3 installs by paying users earns you a free day, up to 15 a month
Players can link their FiveM account to your panel
A new server resource links a visitor's Discord sign-in to their in-game license, so a panel can show each player their own characters, vehicles and money.
- Visitors get a short code on the panel and type /link <code> in-game
- Sources can be scoped so each player reads only their own rows
- Require a linked account for the whole panel or for single pages
- user.license is available in expressions and action bindings
