A calmer builder, and a lot more it can do
Redesigned side panels, top bar and FiveAI chat, plus formulas, gradients, widget backgrounds, hero art controls and SEO settings for published panels.
In this update
- Pages live inside Layers, and the Inspector splits into Content, Style and Visibility
- Formulas: sum, average, distinct counts and ratios over your own rows
- Gradient text, gradient buttons and a background for any single widget
- Settings → SEO sets the title, description, preview image and indexing
The builder had grown one control at a time, and it showed: three tabs on the left, a row of unlabelled icons on the right, labels wrapping onto four lines in the Inspector. This release reorganises the editor around how people actually build a page, and adds the controls owners asked for most.
The editor
- Left panel. Two tabs instead of three. Pages sit at the top of Layers, so moving between pages and picking a widget never needs a tab switch. Add is now a plain list.
- Inspector. A sticky header with position and tabs. Widgets get Content, Style and Visibility (a dot marks active visibility rules); the page gets Page, Design and Badges. The tab you picked last stays picked.
- Resizable panels. Drag either panel's inner edge, use the arrow keys, or double-click to reset. The width is remembered per browser.
- Top bar. Search is a real field in the middle. The page name switches pages, including in Preview. Save state sits next to the breadcrumb, and tips and the editor theme moved into the account menu.
- FiveAI. A fixed-height chat with changes grouped in one card, Undo in its header, and a send button that turns into Stop while a reply runs.
Formulas
Stats, progress bars and charts are no longer limited to five fixed aggregates. A formula can run count, sum, avg, lowest, highest and distinct over your rows and combine them, so "share of players with a house" or "bank plus cash" is one line. Charts run the formula per group. Every expression field now suggests names as you type {{.
Looks
- Gradients for text, button faces and widget backgrounds. A stop can follow the palette (
@accent), so the gradient changes with the theme. - Typography for text blocks and hero headlines: weight, tracking, line height and case.
- Widget backgrounds: art or an image behind any single widget, with wash, blur and fit.
- Hero art can sit left, right or behind the text, with size, anchor, fade, opacity, mirror and corner radius, without squeezing the headline.
SEO for published panels
Settings → SEO sets the panel's title, description, link preview image and tab icon, and whether search engines may list it. Discord embeds pick up the accent colour. Indexing stays off until you turn it on.
Custom domains
Domain verification now follows CNAME chains, handles Cloudflare-proxied and apex records, and tells you which setting to change when a proxy hides the record.
