Players can link their FiveM account to your panel
A new server resource links a visitor's Discord sign-in to their in-game license, so a panel can show each player their own characters, vehicles and money.
In this update
- Visitors get a short code on the panel and type /link <code> in-game
- Sources can be scoped so each player reads only their own rows
- Require a linked account for the whole panel or for single pages
- user.license is available in expressions and action bindings
Until now a published panel knew who a visitor was on Discord, but not who they were on your server. That limited panels to staff tools and public leaderboards. Account linking closes the gap: a player proves which license they own once, and from then on the panel can answer "show me my stuff".
How linking works
- The owner installs the fivepanel-link resource from Settings → FiveM and pastes the project's token into its config.
- A signed-in visitor opens the panel and starts linking from the panel bar. They get a code that is valid for five minutes.
- In-game they type
/link <code>. The server reports the player's identifiers, the code is used up, and the panel reloads already linked.
The code travels from the panel to the game and never the other way, so a guessed code could only attach the guesser's own license to somebody else's Discord. That gives the guesser nothing, and guessing needs a seat on the server in the first place.
Rows that belong to the viewer
In the data mapping, any source can now be set to players see only their own rows. Pick the identifier column and the kind of identifier it holds; FivePanel filters the query itself, so the agent never sends another player's rows to the browser. The owner and staff are never scoped.
Gates and expressions
- Settings → Access has a panel-wide require a linked FiveM account switch, and each page has its own. A locked page shows the link flow instead of its widgets.
- Expressions can read
user.license, and an action can write it into a row. An action refuses to run rather than write an empty value for a visitor who has not linked.
