Connecting your database to the panel is now a checklist and a plain form
The mapping screen no longer asks you to draw lines between fields. It lists each kind of data your panel shows, fills in guesses from your database, and lets you check each one in a form with real sample values.
In this update
- A checklist shows which data is connected, which has a suggestion waiting, and which still shows sample rows
- "Use all suggestions" saves every guess in one click
- Each field is a dropdown that shows sample values from your database, so you pick by recognising the data
- The preview under the form updates on its own as you change fields
- Better guesses for custom databases, including camelCase names and server log tables
After the agent scans your database, FivePanel has to know where your players, vehicles, bans and the rest are stored, and which field holds what. That used to mean drawing a line from each panel field to a database field. It now works like a form.
The checklist
Open Settings › Data and press Open the mapping, or Mapping on a connected agent. Connect your data lists every kind of data the panel has, with the ones your panel uses first. Each row says whether it is Connected, Suggested or Not connected, which table it reads from and how many fields are matched.
When FivePanel found a likely table from the names, the row is marked Suggested. If the guesses look right, Use all suggestions saves them together. Anything you skip keeps showing sample rows.
One kind of data at a time
Open a row to check it in two steps:
- Where are your players stored? Pick the table. Each choice shows its row count and a few sample values, and the likely one is marked Best match.
- Check the fields. Every panel field has a dropdown of the table's fields, each with sample values next to it, so "userMoney.wallet · 5300, 20" is easy to tell from the rest. Leave a field empty if your database does not have it.
Fields nothing on your panel uses yet are folded away. Row filters and "Players see only their own rows" are under Advanced. What your panel will show reads a few rows through your choices and updates as you change them. Save and go to takes you to the next kind of data that still needs a look.
Better guesses
The guesses used to know QBCore, ESX and vRP names only. They now also catch common custom names, such as vehicle tables named like userVehs, punishment logs for bans, money fields like userMoney.wallet, and server log tables.
